In the "Viking Tools" line from Nordic Forge, these Nippers are made from high-quality tool steel, drop forged and heat-treated for wear resistance, then machined to precise tolerances. The blades are sharpened by hand for accurate and very sharp cutting. We carry the semi-polished version which has a nice lightly textured finish for a solid grip on the handle.

The Racetrack nipper works well on running and performance horses as it has a smaller head. The reduced surface area means quicker cutting and faster passes during trimming.
